Manuals

The Corsair K70 PRO TKL is a keyboard with magnetic switches and programmable RGB backlighting. It has a tenkeyless form factor.

Not to be confused with the Corsair Vengeance K70, or the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2; Both are older models no longer in use. As of January 2026, the K70 PRO TKL is the standard keyboard in all our research labs.

Making Screenshots

One quirk of Corsair's TKL layout is that it omits the PrtScrn button. If you wish to take a screenshot, use Windows Snipping Tool, which you can open by holding Windows Key + Shift + S. Then select the area you wish to capture, or change the snipping area to "Fullscreen". The screenshots are saved in the Pictures folder.

Backlight Programming

Backlights can be set up in the Corsair iCUE software. Check the manual or ask TSG for instructions.

ℹ️ Our K70 keyboards are in "Device Memory Mode" by default, with profile 1 loaded. This profile has all LEDs turned off.

ℹ️ Always create a new Software Profile in iCue (click "+" icon on the left) before changing lighting or key settings, and save this profile to your user folder on the D:\ drive (right-click on the profile -> Export. Importing can be done from the same window). On our Lab Computers, profiles and settings get cleared with every periodic maintenance update.
Alternatively, you could set up a Device Memory profile, but please only do this in consultation with the lab manager and/or TSG.
