This helps us standardize, manage and maintain all software and drivers across all computers in the BSI and DCC research labs. A standardized image allows researchers to easily transfer their experiments from one lab to the other (e.g. in case of booking constraints) or conduct research in multiple labs simultaneously with identical settings.

During the update, the Windos (C:\) and Linux system drives will be wiped. Make sure to save your data on the E:\ drive, which will remain untouched, and backup your data to your network drive as soon and often as possible.

The TSG will periodically update this image to improve performance and security.
⚠️ During the update, the Windows (C:\) will be wiped, as may the Data (D:\) drive. Therefore, please back up your data from the Data drive to your network drive regularly (e.g. at the end of every day).
